Use Colink

Easy to use is the aim of designing Colink USB-JTAG probe.There are only a few steps to configuring Colink and using it in IAR Embedded workbench or Keil RealView MDK.

Connecting Colink

Connecting Colink to your target system is easy. In most cases, you simply plug the Colink JTAG cable into the JTAG plug on your target hardware and then plug the USB cable into your PC using a standard USB cable.

Configuring:

In IAR Embedded Workbench:

1. Open your project in IAR Embedded Workbench.
2. Debugger's Driver selects the "Third-Party Driver".


3. Third-Party Driver's IAR debugger driver selects colink-iar.dll from where you placed it.


4. Debug your project.

In Keil RealView MDK:

1. Open your project in Keil RealView MDK.
2. Debug -> Use of the configuration selects "CooCox Debugger".


3. Click Settings, select "Colink" for the Adapter.


4. Then, if you debug your program in flash, you also have to configure Utilities by selecting "CooCox Debugger" for Flash Programming.


5. Debug your project.
